Helsinki before France

stopover in Finland before arriving in Paris. horray for my FIRST encounter with SNOW! ...and -5 degrees Celsius!! literally and figuratively FROZE as soon as i stepped out of the Helsinki airport into the freezing-cold morning. mikoy and i took a bus to the city where we saw only a few birds, a couple of nordic cuties and no one else--I believe it was a Sunday hence the absence of lifeforms even in the city center.
