inside the san agustin church... said to be the oldest church in the country--mostly because all the other churches were either bombed or destroyed in earthquakes... i have never been here, being non-catholic... the interior seems to be very elaborate and more colorful than the sparse, notre-dame like interiors of its neighbor, the manila cathedral. both churches are popular choices for celebrity catholic weddings (them and the santuario de san antonio at forbes park, i have begun to notice).
